This is the first 10 minutes of the pilot episode of Volunteers The Series. The full episode is being used to pitch the show to networks. Obviously there are some dramatic moments that Firefighters and EMT’s would consider over the top, but in order to tell the story of the Volunteers, I needed to be able to keep the attention of non-fire/rescue people.

Obviously this would be a very different show with a networks financial backing and resources. This represents what my wife & I have been able to do over the last year with 1 camera and the support of my home station Co.’s 2 & 14 Purcellville Volunteer Fire and Purcellville (100%) Volunteer Rescue.

I want to thank Co.’s 2 & 14 for the support and allowing me to film with them the last year+. Also Dustin and Billy (who appear in this episode) and there families for allowing us unrestrained access into there lives. Without Dustin & Billy allowing us to do this, and having the courage to allow you all to see it (the good and the bad), we would never have made it this far.

I hope you enjoy the show (or at least the first 10 minutes) and I look forward to your feedback. Thank you all so much for the undying support from all around the world.
